Mankatha delayed due to animation sequence

A still from Mankatha
Ajith’s Mankatha is on its final schedule and still it manages to pop up with unexpected whammies. The latest is that the movie will have an animation sequence which will last a little over 3 minutes.Director Venkat Prabhu revealed, “ we are planning for a short animation sequence in the movie which will last for about 3-5 minutes.” The director is making no compromises on quality as he plans to hire some world class technicians to complete this special animation sequence.
Meanwhile the director also cleared some confusions regarding the Mumbai schedule for the movie. It was heard that the whole team had headed to the location in Dharavi but Venkat cleared the air and he was quoted, “It was only me and the crew who headed to the locations and no actors accompanied us .Infact the next schedule will be here in Chennai only and the Mumbai schedule will resume after that.”
This unexpected change surely is signaling a postponement in dates.
