Pothys have been endorsing mainly for three types of sarees, namely, Parampara, Samudhrika and Vastrakala. A SMS contest had been organized, which received 30,000 polls out of which 30 participants have been selected as prize winners, who were gifted the silk sarees (Parampara/Samudrika/Vastrakala)

Actress Trisha, Hemamalini and carnatic singer Sudha Ragunathan were present at the expo for presenting the gifts to the winners.Trisha was endorsing Parampara Pattu, Hema Malini-Vastrakala, and Sudha Raghunathan -Samudhrika pattu.
