The duo, Latha and Soundarya did not turn up even when the matter came up for hearing on Jan 19 and failed to appear before the court.
February 9, 2011
Baffna  filed a petition last morning (February 9, 2011) seeking their arrest.
When the case came up for hearing, the court ordered issuance of a bailable warrant against them and the case was posted to March 9 for execution of the warrant.
February 9, 2011 Evening – Out of court settlement
When this was brought to the notice of Latha and Soundarya, they immediately paid the dues through a Demand Draft through their lawyer as an out of court settlement with Baffna. Following this, the petitioner filed a petition later in the day, stating that the matter had been settled out of court and sought permission of the court to withdraw his complaint.
Court dismisses the case and recalls arrest warrants
Accepting it, the court, under section 257 CrPC, dismissed his complaint as withdrawn and also recalled the arrest warrants issued by it.
This is not time first time Soundarya has been on the wrong side, we had earlier indicated here  Soundarya Rajnikanth has to pay for her carelessness , which did not go well with some readers, hope they understand now.
