Amy Jackson and Prateik Babbar the new lead pairShoots for the Hindi version of Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaayaa will officially kick off from April 4, 2011 while the movie will release in theatres by July 2011.Earlier there was news that the movie was dropped with the lead pair of Amy Jackson and Prateik Babbar deserting their director. Now things have been solved as Amy andPrateik both will be present for the shoots to commence this April.Gautham Menon has confirmed the news as he spoke to us, “The movie will stick to the original script but the actors will be different. It’s Amy playing Jessy the Malayalee Syrian Christian earlier played by Trisha.AR Rahman has already provided with 3 tracks and they are the original Tamil tunes itself. Any more decisions and necessary changes will be called by Rahman and Javed saab to cater the Hindi audience better.”AR Rahman is scoring the music again while Javed Akhtarwill handle the lyrics department. IN Entertainment andGautham Menon’s Photon Kathaas are jointly producing this one.
