Dhanush is soaking in the glory from his recent release Aadukalam displaying the vigor of Madurai cock fights which was tagged as a sports movie. Now the actor is awaiting his next release the Rajinikanth inspired Mappillai which is a comedy offering awaited this April.

The actor is very curious for this one as he says it falls into a completely opposite genre but there was something else that made us turn our heads talking to the actor. We noticed that our hero had got a little superstitious as he was wearing a Rudraksh around his neck, when we inquired about it Dhanush responded to us by saying, “I just changed the chain to a longer one for Vengai and yes I am still wearing it. I won’t take it off ever.”

It is reported that Dhanush’s father in law, Super Star Rajinikanth had gifted the ‘rudraksh’ chain to Dhanush on his third wedding anniversary, which was gifted to Rajini by Swamy Dayanandha Saraswathi.
