Surya to do a Kamal act with Shruti

Surya is busy these days filming for his upcoming film Ezhaam Arivu, as reported early he will portray the character of a circus artiste. According to schedules, the movie shooting is likely to be wrapped up by this March end.

Ezhaam ArivuDirected by A.R. Murugadoss, responsible for a career high for Surya through Ghajini this film has  Shruti Haasan making her debut as heroine in Tamil.

Apparently, Surya has also committed himself to play the lead role inDirector K.V. Anand’s next directorial venture Maatraan. Mr. Anand who just completed Ko featuring Jeeva and Karthika in lead roles has plans to launch Maatraan within a month.

There is even more lined up for Surya with the controversial Tamil remake of the Hindi hit film ‘3 Idiots’ (moovar) in queue. Well, we hear he will simultaneously complete shooting for Maatraan and Moovar as soon as he wraps up the shooting of Ezhaam Arivu.

The last significant movie where a superstar really played a lead actor as a circus artiste in Tamil was by Kamal Haasanwho mesmerized us way back in a dual role with his dwarf act as Appu a joker in the well scripted mega movie Apoorva Sagodharargal. Surya surely has Kamals blessing with his daughter too playing a pivotal role in the movie.
