Prabhudeva wedding in july after 30 crores divorce settlement

Choreographer-actor-director Prabhu Deva has finally come for out of the court settlement with his wife Ramalathseeking divorce from her. A couple of days ago, Prabhudeva’s estranged wife Ramalath (with whom he led marital life for 15 long years) agreed to Prabhudeva’s terms to ‘release’ him, and he can go ahead to marry Nayanthara.

However for Prabhudeva it will be a very costly settlement, as he has agreed to part with substantial share of his assets. As per the deal worked Prabhu will give his sea side villa at Injambakkam on ECR, a bungalow in up market Anna Nagar, and three flats in Chennai and a property in Hyderabad, and two cars. He would also pay one time alimony of Rs 10 Lakhs to Latha. The buzz is that the market price for all the real estates put together will be anywhere in the region of Rs 25 to 30 Crore.

Now that decks have been cleared for their marriage, actress Nayanthara and Prabhudeva are said to be planning to hold their much-awaited marriage in July. The couple, who have been going around for more than an year now, have reportedly started the arrangements already. The formal divorce is expected to be granted by the Family Court in Chennai in June, 2011. Even before the judgment, Nayan and Prabu have already kick-started arrangements for their July wedding. Even the date of the wedding has already been decided, sources close to the pair say.

Close sources also revealed that orders have already been placed with a leading silk store in Kancheepuram for weaving an expensive ‘silk saree’ for Nayanthara to be worn on the day of wedding.

The marriage will be held in a popular five-star hotel at Chennai in a grand manner and Prabhudeva’s relatives and friends within and outside the Kollywood,Tollywood, Mollywood and Bollywood industries are expected to attend to the wedding. The couple have decided to settle down in Chennai after the wedding and effort has also been initiated to locate a suitable apartment/house for their stay.
