Sathyaraj known for his versatility in handling any role offered to him made a refreshing change to the small screen by hosting a game show titled ‘Home Sweet Home’ on Vijay Tv recently. That hasn’t stopped this entertainer to completely abandon the filmy realms.He has some plum projects in store with Director Shankar’s Nanban being his latest grab.The actor has landed himself with just another biggie with veteran director Mani Ratnam.

Sathyaraj will play a Buddhist Monk in the upcoming multi starrer offering Ponniyin Selvan accompanied by Kollywood heroes Vijay, Arya and Tollywood prince Mahesh Babu playing top roles in the movie.Mani Ratnam’s historical epic in the making has some latest additions in popular face Anushka Shetty and the musical wing being proudly rested on the shoulders of maestro AR Rahman, the composer earlier confirming the same.
