Jayalalitha and Vijay to share the dias

We had earlier reported that Ilayathalapathy Vijay and his father and well-known film director S A Chandrashekar would campaign for AIADMK in the upcoming election along with the Ilaya Thalapathi Makkal Iyakkam, a movement launched as a spring board for the actor’s political career.

Now there are fresh reports that AIADMK supremo Jayalalitha and Vijay are expected to share the dias on the music release of ‘Sattapadi Kuttram’, a political flick directed by SA Chandrashekar himself.

Yes. SAC is planning to invite the former chief minister Jayalalitha to release the first audio CD of the film. Vijay along with director Shankar will be receiving the CD from Jayalalitha if she agrees to attend the event.

Jayalalitha and Vijay were seen together few month backs at the marriage reception of the son of Saidai Duraisamy, Secretary of the South Chennai District of AIADMK.

SAC, who made ‘revolutionary’ films like ‘Sattam Oru Iruttarai’, ‘Sigappu Malli’ and ‘Naan Sigappu Manithan’ in the early and mid-eighties which had thought-provoking dialogues, has made his ‘Sattapadi Kutram’ also on those lines. Starring Vikranth, Sathyaraj and Seeman in the lead roles, the film also has Vijay in a guest role.  SAC believes that Sattapadi Kutram would bring some changes in the current political scenario.
