Kushboo Campaigns for DMK at Madurai

Recently comedian Vadivelu entertained the Thiruvarur constituency people with his witty speech, most of which was devoted to criticising DMDK chief Vijaykant, at the public meeting where the Chief Minister launched his campaign.

Followed that, Actress Kushboo who is one of the star campaigners of the DMK, started her campaign in Madurai on March 25 (Friday).  She campaigned at various places across the city for DMK’s Madurai East candidate G. Thalapathi; Madurai West candidate P. Moorthi; Madurai Central candidate S. S. Ghouse Batcha and the Congress candidate for Madurai North, K. S. K. Rajendran.

She called upon the voters to bring back DMK to power so that all the people-oriented schemes continued without any disruption. She also quipped that there was much more in the DMK’s kitty to be offered to the people.

“We will give what we have promised and will also give more than what we have promised.”, she said.

Stating that the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam’s manifesto was nothing but a “photocopy” of the DMK’s, she said that certain promises in the manifesto were not feasible and it was a vain attempt to woo the voters.

She started her campaign at Jeeva Nagar in the morning and covered many areas in the city, including Arapalayam, Ponnagaram, Bypass Road, Bethaniapuram, BB Kulam, Naganakulam, Tiruppalai, Bank Colony and Iyer Bungalow.
