Aishwarya Rai to be honored by Karnataka CM

Mangalore beauty and global sensation Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has found admirers not just in India but far across Asia including the likes of Hollywood. After making a return to Tamil cinema with some big budget flicks under her belt,playing lead in Mani Ratnam’s Raavanan and worldwide blockbuster hit Enthiran opposite Superstar Rajinikanth,Aishwarya has generated a renewed interest among fans down south.

Now Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa will recognize her invaluable contribution to the field of arts and cinema in the World Kannada Conference(Vishwa Kannada Sammelana) to be held next week on March, 11 at Belgaum. The occasion will also recognize N R Narayana Murthy the brainchild behind Infosys and the efforts of other distinguished personalities from various backgrounds who have brought pride to the state of Karnataka.
