Nayanthara rejects Simbu’s offer

Reports say that the inimitable Simbu a.k.a. STR recently got in touch with his ex-flameNayantara. Simbu and Nayantara had a much-publicised love affair running between them a few years back when all of a sudden the affair broke for no apparent reasons. After that, Nayantara started concentrating in putting her career back on track and went on to become one of the leading actresses in Tamil.

She fell in love with Prabhudeva, who was granted divorce by a Family Court in Chennai from Ramalat, his wife of 15 years. Nayan and Prabhu might get married in a couple of months’ time from now, reports say. Nayan had already called it quits from the film industry after completing her last assignment which was a Telugu film titled ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ in which she has essayed the role of Goddess Sita.

Simbu is said to have asked Nayan to dance for an ‘item number’ in his upcoming film ‘Osthi’ in which he pairs up with Tollywood’s Richa Gangopadhyaya. The film, directed by Dharani, is the remake of Bollywood superhit film ‘Dabbang’. Nayan, however, refused the offer saying that she had wanted her last film as a good one and that she didn’t want to do any more film(s) after playing the role of Goddess Sita.
