Actor Karthi, till recently one of Kollywood’s most eligible bachelors has finally be taken. Karthi who got engaged withRanjani on April 29, tied the nuptial knot on Sunday morning(July 3) at Codissia Complex in Coimbatore. The wedding was a “purely private wedding”, and was attended only by close family members and friends, Karthi’s father-actorSivakumar, mother Lakshmi, brother-actor Suriya,Jyothika, Sister Brindha, brother-in-law Sivakumar, parents of the
bride, Jyothika’s sister and actress Nagma, Roshini and other family members were present at the solemn occasion and blessed the couple. Kollywood celebrities director Bala, actor Prabhu, Pandiarajan, Radhika Sarathkumar, Prithvi, Karthik, singer Suchitra were among those who made their presence felt at the event.

Karthi was looking very smart in traditional Silk Dhothi(Veshti) and Shirt and Ranjani was looking gorgeous in Yellow color Silk Saree. Actor Surya was also seen in Dhothi. Karthi will host a grand reception on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at the Le Royal Meridian in Chennai for “friends from the film industry”.
