Actress Sujatha Passes Away

Sujatha (58) , passed away today(06.04.11)  at her Chennai residence , out of ill health .

Sujatha was introduced to  tamil film world by Balachander in his film Aval Oru Thodar Kathai and  she went on to join the league of actress  who has acted in over 300 films in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam and had made a  mark  pairing opposite to Kamal Haasan, Rajnikanth, Shiva Kumar, Sivaji Ganesan. And was even conferred ‘Kalaimamani’ by Tamilnadu government.

Sujatha had been suffering from chronic kidney disease for a Some time. And since her kidneys failed and she had been undergoing dialysis and had to stay away from films. Her last tamil film was Ajith’s Varalaru  released in 2006.

Kollywood expressed its shock on her sudden demise. May her Soul Rest In Peace. She will be continue to be  remembered forever for her performances in Annakili,Andhaman Kadali,Aval Oru Thodarkathai,Vidhi and Avargal to name a few.
