Director Suraj’s shock treatment to Dhanush

Reports of  actor Dhanush not in very good terms with Nemichand Jabak, the producer of his upcoming film ‘Maappillai’,   has been doing rounds for over few months. Maapillai  is the remake of the Rajni hit film of the same title which released in the late eighties,and  would have Newcomer Hansika Motwani as the heroine opposite Dhanush in the film.

The actor’s non-cooperative attitude has been reportedly causing  many sleepless nights to the producer-cum-financier. The long delays in the making of the film notwithstanding, director Suraj, who had earlier directed Dhanush in the super-hit film ‘Padikkadhavan’, has managed to finally wrap up the shooting.

When the dubbing stage approached, Dhanush again showed his temper and citing some reasons, he quit the dubbing theatre  without bothering to complete his portion of the dubbing. Instead of running behind him or trying to convince him to continue the dubbing work, director Suraj had started dubbing in his own voice for Dhanush’s character in the film.

When Dhanush Realized that it was a now-or-never situation and that he should intervene before it became too late, Dhanush had returned to the dubbing studio and  has now completed the dubbing in his own voice
