Dhanush completes a Perfect Ten in Kollywood

Well Dhanush has been in the industry for quite a some time for now and it would come as a surprise to many as it was for our hero that he has now successfully completed a full decade in the industry.; yes, it was at this time of the year in 2000 that his debut film ‘Thullvadho Ilamai’, directed by his elder brother Selvaraghavan, released and later turned out to be a successful venture.

An awestruck Dhanush said “I just realized that I have completed a full 10 years as an actor.Wow! it all seems like yesterday.” ‘Thulluvadho Ilamai’, incidentally, marked the debut as heroine of actress Sherin. Despite her looks and acting prowess, she has somehow faded into oblivion. But Dhanush’s cine career hasn’t been without genuine hits: ‘Thulluvadho Ilamai’, was itself a hit, followed by back-to-back hits‘Kadhal Kondein’, and ‘Thiruda Thirudi’.

With memorable films including Polladhavan and Yaaradi Nee Mohini, he  joined among the top 1o leagues of  stars in Kollywood.  And  gone on to built up a reputation for himself as a saleable and bankable actor who emotes well in emotional sequences, does comedy perfect and also giving you the feel of the boy next door in most cases.

Now at this juncture his career looks  good and the actor is in an  definite upbeat mood as his upcoming film ‘Aadukalam’(which is expected to hit the screens for Pongal) directed by Vetrimaran (who directed ‘Polladhavan’), has been getting good pre-release reviews. Meanwhile, he is busy with Hari’ ‘Venghai’, his first film with director Hari and second film with Tamannaah.
