Birthday boy Jeeva invokes wrath of PMK GK Manis Son
Actor Jeeva, who celebrated his birthday yesterday (4th January), has found himself in an unenviable position. The talented actor, who is looking forward to the release of many films such as ‘Ko’, ‘Vandahaan Vendraan’ and ‘Singampuli’, hasn’t had a great year in 2010.
Jeeva’s ‘Ko’ starring opposite Karthika (daughter of yesteryear’s heroine Radha) and directed by cinematographer-director K.V. Anand is awaited with lot of expectation as Anand’s last film ‘Ayan’ turned out to be a superhit two years ago. Before signing up ‘Ko’, Jeeva is said to have taken advance from the GKM Tamil Kumaran son of a PMK leader(GKM Mani) for starring in a film titled ‘Adalaeru’.
The actor reportedly told them that he’d start shooting for ‘Adalaeru’ once he finished ‘Ko’. Now that the shooting of ‘Ko’ has been completed, he was asked to give dates for the shooting of ‘Adalaeru’ by the producer. Little did he expect that Jeeva would tell that he wasn’t in a position to give call-sheet in the near future and that he (the producer) would have to wait at least for two more years. Jeeva is also said to have offered to return the ‘advance amount’ taken by him.
The PMK bigwig is said to be cursing his own luck as he is very much aware that his party chief was not in favour of any of his men turning film producers. As such, he is said to be pondering over his next move.
