The actress has now bagged the ‘best actress’ award for her role in the Malayalam film ‘Bodyguard’.
Nayanthara was at her dazzling best in an ‘Anarkali’ outfit. Howsoever she kept mum during the entire event avoiding any interaction with whosoever was present at the function. The actress received the Best Actress award for her act in Malayalam flick Bodyguard -of which Kaavalan is a remake. Now what made the award special was it being presented to Nayanthara by none other than heroVijay himself.
The lady kept it as a quick affair as she posed for some photos and made a hurried exit, even when the anchor of the event asked her to say a few words to the audience, she simply said ‘Thanks’ and alighted from the stage. Dileep, the hero of ‘Bodyguard’, won the ‘best actor’ award.
Kollywoods Mass hero Vijay won the ‘audience’s choice’ award and was presented the memento by Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan. Amitabh was presented the Life time achievement Award.
