Vikram badly needs a hit as he has had two successive mega-budget failures in Susi Ganesan’s ‘Kanthasamy’ and Maniratnam’s ‘Raavan’ in the past couple of years. Both the films were expected to fare well at the box-office for various reasons but unfortunately for the actor, they bombed at the box-office. He, therefore, needs a hit to sustain in the cut-throat world of Kollywood.

After wrapping up his ‘Deiva Magan’ under Vijay’s direction in February, Vikram is likely to venture into a full-fledged action film which would be shot separately in three languages viz., Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. To be produced by popular Tollywood producer Singanamala Ramesh, the film would have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja,thereby making it as his debut film in Bollywood Telugu hottie Deeksha Seth would pair up opposite ‘Chiyan’ Vikram who will start another film by August in Suseendhiran’s direction which would have Amala Paul as the heroine. This would be another significant film for Vikram, who would be playing dual role(s) in the film.

As part of his mega-plan for this year, the final stop for Vikram would be the launch of another high-octane action film with Dharani. The duo, which has already given super-hit films like ‘Dil’ and ‘Dhool’, would start the project by the end of the year with Vikram playing a Pilot in the film.All in all, Vikram has an exciting year in store for sure!
