Tamannah Awaiting to act with Kamal and Rajnikanth

Tamannah is gearing up for her Tamil release Siruthai, we caught with her before she runs off for Pongal celebrations. Here is what she had to say about he relationship and aspirations.

What do you have to say about the Pongal treat Siruthai?

Although as you know it is the remake of a Telugu film it has come out ten times powerful than the Telugu version. The makers have left no stone unturned and have added many interesting factors in the screenplay making it just even more beautiful. I won’t stress how extraordinary it is, you have to watch it to know. All I can reveal is  I play the role of an innocent girl who falls in love with Karthi.

How is  Karthi?

Please don’t associate me like that with a co star. Looking at my previous collaboration there isn’t a slightest shade of Paiyya in this film. He has changed his looks and put extra effort to excel in every individual scene. I was very much impressed by his performance. He is playing a pickpocket.

Do you plan to settle in Chennai soon, you keep traveling to and fro to Chennai?

I am very home sick. I always feel like going home in Mumbai after completing my work. My father, mother and friends are all there. I am not able to leave them. That is the reason for not acquiring a house here.

Do you aspire to play opposite Kollywood greats?

I definitely have that desire. I want to act with Rajni and Kamal sir an opportunity is yet to come. I also want to do movies directed by Manirathnam, Shankar, Gowtham Menon, Sasikumar and Radha Mohan. After 5 years in the industry when I turn back and see, I should have the satisfaction that I had acted in many great roles. I just feel whatever work we do, we should do it with dedication and sincerity.

Your fans want to knw about your close friends, they say you never pickup the phone maybe they would be of good help?

Oh! Really, well, Poonam Bajwa and Vedhika are my very close friends. We three always go for shopping eat out at restaurants regularly.

So you have any message for those who can’t still get you on the phone this Pongal?
