Karthi’s Siruthai Press Meet held at Residential Tower, Chennai today 03 December 2010. Siruthai is the remake of Tollywood blockbuster “Vikramarkudu” starring Ravi Teja made in tamil with Karthi ,Santhanam and Tamanaah performing the lead roles, and directed by telugu director Siva under the banner of Studio Greens Gnanavel Raja,
Karthi for the first time playing a double role, one a police officer and another a pick-pocket, said he did a lot of homework to make the two different characters look as original as possible. For the police officer role the actor said he watched a lot of old films like ‘Moondru Mugam’ to get that perfect style of a police and Inspiration from brother surya’s Kaakha kaakha.
