Prakashraj to direct a film on educational system flaws
National award-winning actor Prakash Raj who turned director with Kannada film ‘Naanu Nanna Kanasu’, a remake of Radha Mohan-directed Abhiyum Naanum is all set to direct his second flick. This time he will be directing a bi-lingual film which will be made in Tamil and Telugu. Prakash will also be producing the film besides doing a role.
Interestingly, the story of the movie is based on our educational system and flaws in our examination system.
Prakash said, “I feel the pain when I see my daughters going to school with their backpack full of books and they are burdened with home work. I feel that they are encouraged to memorize their lessons, which makes our examination system flawed. I want to talk about out all this and much more in the film.”
The actor who is presently scripting the film feels that the real star in a film is its script and he intends to concentrate more on his script than other things that go into filmmaking.
While Prakash is playing a role, the rest of the cast and technicians are yet to be finalized. The yet-to-be-titled film will start rolling by March after the release of his latest production venture ‘Payanam’, directed by Radha Mohan starring Nagarjuna in the lead role and the official announcement is expected to be made shortly.
The actor of substance, is currently doing almost a dozen films, including two in Hindi.
