Anushka to star in Myshkin’s next film?

The leggy Anoushka, who is making rapid strides on the popularity charts as well as in the preferences of directors and producers in Kollywood, is said to be the choice of dynamic filmmaker Mysskin too for his next film.
Mysskin is presently making his adventure film ‘Yuddham Sei’, starring diector-turned-actor Cheran and Prasanna in the lead. The film also has an added attraction with an ‘item number’ featuring the charming Neetu Chandra and director-actor Ameer.
Anushka’s ‘Arundhati’, released in the early part of 2009, did wonders to her career as it turned out to be a phenomenal hit in Telugu and Tamil. In fact, it only opened the doors of Kollywood to Anushka on her comeback after she starred in the unsuccessful ‘Rendu’ opposite Madhavan a few years ago and retreated to Tollywood seeking greener pastures.
Mysskin, who is about to wrap up ‘Yudhdham Sei’, is said to have initiated the hunt to locate a suitable heroine to star in his next film. Sources close to the burly director say that he wants to cast Anoushka in the lead role. Anoushka has ‘Vaanam’ opposite Simbu and ‘Deiva Magan’ opposite Vikram besides a film opposite Kamal Haasan, which would go to the floors soon.
