Aishwarya replaced by Freida Pinto

International cosmetic giants L’Oreal has now replaced their long time Indian face Aishwarya Rai with the Slumdog Millionare fame actressFreida Pinto. The brands recent New Year commercial saw the presence of the latter while we couldn’t catch a glimpse of Ash’s dazzling eyes.

Meanwhile Ash’s spokesperson was unaware of any such replacements as she quoted “I have no idea about it”, for the Daily Mail. But when we tried to get more information on the same we were left with an unsatisfactory reply saying that “the lady is busy with an upcoming performance and currently not available for any comments.”

Well the absence certainly says a lot already.

The news will surely come as a shock for all Ash fans who will miss her presence in the words “because you’re worth it ”, now we will have to rethink on that one.
