Shooting for Ajiths Billa 2 kick started

Thala Ajith’s Billa 2 is on it’s way. The shooting for the much anticipated follow up to the hugely successful ‘Billa’ (2007) has kicked off at theRamoji Film City in Hyderabad on 14^th July, yesterday. A simple pooja was conducted before the commencement of the shoots, which saw the participation of the Billa 2 cast and crew. Thala has been sweating it out at the gym to fit in every inch, in the shoes of his character. Billa 2 will present fans with David’s transformation into one of the most dreaded dons.The movie being a big ticket 7 million project, also deserves special mention for the use of the state-of-the-art Red Epic digital camera.The Red Epic shoots at a resolution of 5k and has been a cinematographer’s favorite for big budget Hollywood flicks like ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’.

The movie is being directed by ‘Unnaipol Oruvan’ – Chakri Taloti with R.D. Rajasekar behind the lens. Hot faces Huma Qureshi and Bruna Abdullah will up the glamour quotient for the movie with Yuvan Shankar Raja waiting to deliver for yet another Ajith flick following Mankatha.
